Brighstone Pre-school

Brighstone Preschool is situated within Brighstone Primary School. We offer childcare places for children from 12 months to school age.

Alongside the preschool we offer a successful breakfast and after school club for children age 1 to 11 years inclusive. This is available from 7.30am for the breakfast session and from 2.45 -5pm for the afternoon session. After school club staff collects children from the primary school.

At Brighstone we offer childcare for 3 half terms, 2 weeks at Easter and 1 week at Christmas. We operate a Summer Holiday Club at our Niton site.
We charge £5 per hour for the first child and £4.50 for any subsequent child/ren.

Looking at different people’s cultures and festivals is a great way to teach children about the world around them. We encourage children to show respect for other people’s beliefs. We will be looking at the Hindu Festival of Light Diwali, Bonfire Night and of course Christmas.

Brighstone Preschool is situated within Brighstone Primary School. We offer a well equipped indoor space and have a multi surface garden to explore. 
Our aim is to encourage children to be happy, healthy, confident and inquisitive, interested in life and enthusiastic about the challenges they encounter in their play through the use of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (2012).
We are Ofsted Registered and the Pre-School complies with the local authority Health & Safety Regulations and meets the Fire Standard requirements. We adhere to the Government Standards for Full Day Care.
